It's Labor Day Weekend... Finally!

I'm sure that a lot of you have been counting down to the first day off in the school year: Labor Day. It's the perfect time to shop the sales at the mall, go to a barbecue with some friends, and finally get some rest. Today, all I did was sleep. My first couple weeks of back-to-school were pretty stressful, so I will definitely take advantage of this long weekend and catch up on some shut-eye. I woke up at 11:30, ate brunch with my family, took a 5-hour long nap, and ate dinner. Laziness felt great!

This Labor Day weekend, I encourage all of you to slow down, forget about the homework you have to complete, and take a day off. Just relax. It's easier said than done, but it helps. Trust me!

I know this blog post was a bit short, but I hope this reminds you to really enjoy Labor Day this year! In the midst of homework and the stress that comes with studying, it is important to rest and "recharge". No matter where you live, during any long weekend, I still encourage you to find time to spend time with your family and take a break from all of your hard work. :)

Please send more blog post requests, suggestions, or any feedback to artofhighschooling@gmail.com! Thanks again for your support!

Good luck!
