The Benefits of Color-coding

One extremely useful tip for staying organized throughout the hustle-and-bustle of high school is color-coding. Instead of having differently-colored notebooks and binders for each class, try to coordinate the colors so you immediately know which class the binder and notebook is for. Make sense?  For example, only your literature supplies would be in red, so it is easier to distinguish and also prevents you from accidentally grabbing the wrong binder for the day!

Here are the colors I use:
Red- Literature
Blue- Math
Dark Green- French
Teal- Science
Orange- History
Light Green- Elective Class

Here's a tip: You can also use different shades of a color for color-coding! If you notice, my color-codes include dark green and light green. This is because the two colors are extremely different and I can distinguish between them easily.
