I came across this video on TED today, and I was so excited to share it with you guys! Being the sleep-deprived high schooler that I am, the title grabbed my attention and was screaming "Waatttccchhhhh meeee". I encourage you to click on the play button below:
Even though it is 20 minute video, I was fascinated by the true importance of sleep. Russell Foster does an amazing job at explaining the sleep cycles and disproving common myths about it. You can really relate to what he talks about and may possibly change your perspective on catching some shut-eye!
Also, I wanted to share this link with you... it is a bedtime calculator that allows you to feel better rested and make the most out of your sleep, even when you go to bed at 1:30 in the morning!

I know, I know... the past 3 posts have been all about resting and getting sleep. But how ironic is it that this video just happens to bump into me after my 2 other posts? Huh. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this video and be on the watch for a new blog post tomorrow!
Good luck!
-B.
