How To Extend Your Eraser Life

I love mechanical pencils. I really do. But the only downside to these wonderful contraptions is the short eraser life. A mechanical pencil could literally last a lifetime (as long as you had a never ending supply of lead) if the erasers were never ending too. Sure, there are mechanical pencils out there such as the Papermate Clear Point mechanical pencils with the twistable long erasers, but they are much more expensive!

After learning this method, I thought to myself, Why didn't I think of that? Honestly, it makes perfect sense! Much better than spending money on more erasers or another pencil in my opinion :) Anways, here are the steps...

Step 1: Take out the eraser.

Step 2: Crumple up a small piece of paper.

Step 4: Stick it into the top of the pencil- Use a paper clip or something needle-like to push it down.

Step 5: Push the eraser back into the top of the pencil and... VOILA! Enjoy your new & improved mechanical pencil!

Hey guys, I am SO sorry for the delay in the blog post these past couple of weeks. In all honesty, I've been way too busy with this AP class, tests, sports, and other extracurriculars! (Thank goodness that's all over... for now.) *dun dun DUN* I hope you understand! Keep an eye out for more blog posts and as always, shoot me an email or leave me a comment below for any suggestions!

Good luck!
-B.
